The Wedding Scene is a Wedding Directory Service managed and operated out of the Gold Coast, Australia. The Wedding Scene is a leading Queensland Wedding Directory Service, specialising in promoting wedding services online and in local print media and bridal events.

The Wedding Scene's main objective is to provide a comprehensive online planning tool for brides-to-be to plan their Queensland wedding.  

We therefore seek quality products and services to advertise on our Wedding Directory Service to meet this objective.

Home Page and Right Hand Column Advertising

Premium Plus advertiser only. Promotion includes sharing advertising space on the right hand side of every page. Listings are random on a daily basis, with slight preference towards descriptive listings. Home page advertising is also random with slight preference towards descriptive listings.

Specials Field

Increase your exposure when you need it most - when business is slow! The ‘special offer’ section has an attention grabbing animated character that indicates whenever you have a special. We also list your special under the "Specials" category for your area. 

Information Request

Add the "i" symbol to indicate that you can provide literature packs on request. If the Bride-To-Be clicks on this option, a form is displayed to allow them to request a literature pack from you. 

Description

Premium Plus and Premium advertising allows for up to 500 characters to describe your business and benefits.

Photographs

Premium Plus and Premium advertising allows for one photograph to be added to the listing.  An optional slide show (3 photographs) is available, refer to Add-Ons section below. 

Lead Generation Program (Emails)

This is an EMAIL service where we send you leads via email. We currently have a form that enables Brides-To-Be to email their requests to all Wedding Providers that match their criteria AND where the Wedding Provider has configured to receive such requests. This configuration is called the "Lead Level". Wedding Providers may select the Lead Level from no leads, to very specific leads, to their business and area only leads, to all leads. Refer here for more details. If the Lead Level matches, Leads are sent out to the Wedding Provider, including an email address to reply to (except to 'Basic' listings), a telephone contact number and mailing address. There is NO additional fee to set the Lead Level, including where all leads are sent, this is included in your package. However, it is important to note that the 'Basic' package does not include email addresses in the Leads and may not be as economical as the other packages when taking into consideration posting costs. 

Access to Last 2 Weeks Leads Online

This is an ONLINE service where you may check the last 2 weeks of leads online, rather than receive them one-by-one via email (although both services can be used). Example

All listings allow for the phone number to be displayed.

Listing Priority

The order in which the Advertising Packages are listed whilst browsing. Premium Plus Advertising is listed with the highest priority and therefore always starting on page 1. Priority reduces through packages as indicated until the Basic Advertising which has the lowest priority. 

Listing Order

Within each package range, listings are rotated on a daily basis to ensure top positioning is shared equally, with the exception of Basic Advertising, which remains in alphabetical suburb order. Please note that there is a slight preference (about 10%) towards descriptive Premium Listings so if you want to achieve the listing positioning on average (within your package range), make sure you make your listing as descriptive as possible.

Maximum Areas

Up to five Areas to expose your business, depending on the package selected. The "All locations" is one of these areas and not selectable. The Standard package comes with one area but there is an option to add other areas. Please refer to Add-Ons section above. 

Maximum Categories

Up to five Categories to expose your business, depending on the package selected. The "Specials" category is included as one of those five categories for the Premium+ and Premium Listings.
